Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions for executive coaching.

  • This depends on the client. You can start seeing quick wins within a few sessions, if you put in the work to make a change.

However, true change relies on consistently practiced habits, and that takes time. That’s why a minimum of a 6-month commitment is required.

  • This is your story to share, therefore your information is confidential.

  • Think of executive coaching as a lifestyle change, rather than a fad diet. There is no one quick fix. It takes time, effort, and consistency to see progress.

For One to One Coaching, we will meet 3-4 times per month for 6-months minimum. You will have homework outside of your sessions in accordance with your personalized strategy. I will help you monitor your progress and encourage you toward your goals.

  • I work with high achieving executives and their teams, of all genders. I have clients both in and out of the tech industry. I also work with clients all across the globe.

The common factor among my clients is that they are ready to put in the work for change and adopt a growth mindset.

  • You’re looking for someone with credentials to match the science-backed process. I’ve got it.

I worked my way up to Chief Customer Officer for a large tech company, after having spent years diversifying my experience in different roles, industries, and sized companies.

Once I did my own inner work, I realized that, while I loved the coaching portion of my position, I no longer wanted to prioritize the rest of the daily tasks that came with it. My role evolved to fit more of what energized me and less of what didn’t.

I’ve been in a similar position as you’re in now. And I’m living proof that the strategies and methodologies I use work - as a certified coach, facilitator, and mediator. I’ll use those same principles and techniques when we work together, while also bringing my experience from the corporate arena to meet you where you are.

See the About section of this website for more information.

  • The results you see depend on certain factors, like:

    • Your goals

    • What matters most to you

    • Your work effort in and out of our sessions

While I will never promise results, my past clients have seen transformations, such as:

    • Healthier mindset shifts and feeling like they’re back to their true selves

    • Overcoming limiting beliefs of what’s holding them back

    • Showing up more authentically at leadership levels

    • More confidence in current career roles and in navigating challenges

    • New career opportunities that align with their values

    • Increases in salary and compensation

    • Getting along better with other co-workers

    • Making the right choices with their time

    • Increasing their executive presence

I won’t act as though these successes are exclusively attributed to MiraVous and my coaching services. But it does have a significant impact on my clients making each of these milestones.

  • Coaching:

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. It helps clients bridge the gap between where they are now and where they want to be in the future.

The coaching relationship is focused on awareness, action, accountability, and follow-through.

Coaching is for those who are emotionally and mentally healthy and ready to grow.

    Therapy:

Therapy emphasizes the past to understand the present and it works more with developing skills for managing emotions or past issues than does coaching. It may be used to prevent, cure, or treat a mental disorder or medical disease.

  • First, I encourage readers NOT to USE Stripe AS YOUR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT PROVIDER. See details below so you can understand what can happen to you. Stripe has terrible customer service and is unsuitable for a professional services business that provides customized solutions. Stripe’s website ‘fulfillment policy’ requirements were created in a vacuum for product providers who sell via their website. Please contact me for further insights. I will be moving to another provider as soon as possible; we have many choices to work with providers that offer MUCH better options in customer services and prices.

Why I am writing this: Stripe has recently begun insisting that I provide explicit ‘fulfillment and payment’ information on my website, which doesn’t make any sense because MiraVous clients are selected individually, and each client’s contract terms are unique. MiraVous services cannot be purchased on the MiraVous website or via a payment link without a detailed contract and explicit agreement by MiraVous to accept this engagement. For every service engagement, MiraVous requires an executed contract that includes exactly what to expect in terms of MiraVous’ services, as well as all payment, refund, delivery, and cancellation policies. Despite providing this information to Stripe, Stripe continues to insist on me wasting my time to write the below and is holding a payment due to me for over $1300 if I don’t post the below.

MiraVous has been a customer of Stripe for over 15 months without any disputes; out of the blue, they are asking me to provide the information below which isn’t relevant to my business. Over three weeks, I have been in back-and-forth communications with their support team to try to help them understand my business model, including that MiraVous customers don’t pay for services via the MiraVous website and that all clients must sign a very detailed and customized contract with detailed information about the agreed upon services and related payment. Despite that, Stripe insists that I provide ‘fulfillment and payment’ information on my website. So now I am writing this to satisfy their ‘policy’ and make others aware of the unbelievably poor customer service and a warning that Stripe can, without notice, hold your payments until this is satisfied.

So here is what is requested:

    A description of MiraVous’ services:

See the Services section of the website

    The purchase currency:

    Dollars

    MiraVous ‘fulfillment’ policies:

No MiraVous purchases are made via this website.

To request MiraVous services, please complete the Contact form on this website. We will contact you within 2 business days to schedule a time to discuss your specific needs and the relevant services MiraVous can provide to meet your needs.

Should we decide to work together, a 6-12 page contract will be provided to you for review and signature. It will include explicit information relative to confidentiality and the services engagement, including, as relevant, MiraVous’ fees with a payment link as applicable (if using a credit card), ‘fulfillment’ (payment) policies: refund, delivery, return (not applicable), and cancellation. Each service engagement is highly customized to your needs – including the particular services, timeframe, cost, and other contract terms.

Again, an executed contract with all this information is required for all new service engagements before making any payments.
